girl's night out

Of course, before going to see the Tough Lover's show on Friday night, we had to have a girl's pre-drink/dance party!

On Friday night, I went to see my friend's friend's band. "Tough Lovers" are from Ladner, BC; and in my opinion have it all going for them. They even have a female vocalist to sweeten up their sound. Check out their EP Album "Exits"

army impression

Another one of my obsessions right now is army green...I think it's flattering on (almost) everyone, it goes with again, (almost) everything (including stripes! yes!) and I think it transfers from season to season. I'm starting to see a lot of spring and summer merchandise appearing in stores, and while I'd love to be buying it all and wearing it, the weather isn't quite there yet. So until then, I'll be wearing casual variations of this:

pocket pies

This post is for my Nana! I used her pie recipe (and if you've ever had her pie...your mouth would be watering at the thought), and made some little "pocket pies". I got the mold from William Sonoma, and it makes the cutest, most perfect sized little pies ever. And Nana, while my pies can't beat yours, they were still pretty good.

I always get a crazy amount of compliments on these booties whenever I wear them, and they're super comfy...I'm now sure why I don't wear them more!
