Charlie and Lee has officially re-opened.. on 233 Union Street, Vancouver! A beautiful store with such beautiful things. And also one of my favorite blogs, which you can get to from here. Lucky for all of you who don't live in Vancouver, they also have an online store that you can shop on! But really - what's the experience without a visit to the real place??

DIY for free

I've been looking for the perfect green army vest for a while now... and have been unsuccessful. So I took this very old blazer/safari jacket and simply cut off the sleeves & voila - just what I was looking for.

I'm really being inspired recently by fashion photography...and I aspire to take photographs like these one day. Unfortunately I can't for the remainder of this month until my camera is back in my sweaty little palms.

I saw these lights at my most recent visit home in Anthropologie - forever my favorite store and also my past and again soon-to-be place of work (it's opening on South Granville on May 13th). I have a feeling that I might soon be trying my own DIY version of this.. I think I might be able to get my hands on a saw. I'll let you know if I actually follow through with it...
