I've been looking for the perfect green army vest for a while now... and have been unsuccessful. So I took this very old blazer/safari jacket and simply cut off the sleeves & voila - just what I was looking for.

Excuse my blog right now...it's "under construction". I was in the middle of changing it all around when my internet connection stopped - for a few days. I now have it back but it's a busy week at school and work so I'll do my best to fix it soon.

Hello again. First off, my brother bought me this sequined blazer for Christmas...aren't you all impressed with him? and second, I'm obsessed with these shorts. I know high waisted jean shorts are nothing new, but I wear these with everything and they make me feel like such a hippie.

Yesterday I went to Forever 21 and had some great success...and spent hardly anything. The Spring styles are really inspiring me...and I love all of the brass jewelry as well. What's on your Spring Shopping List?

These pictures totally crack me up, since clearly they were last minute and I didn't prepare at all (notice the box in the bottom? Sorry, I'm a failure!). Anyways, I just had to post this outfit anyways because I lovelovelove this jacket! I purchased it a few years ago at a Craft Sale in Calgary with my oldest friend Kirsten, while we were working and living there. It's hand made and is wool, therefore it's super warm and works well for these days that are in-between and always changing.

This weekend I'm pretty much staying in and doing homework... The. Whole. Time. That is to be expected though, my second semester is coming to an end! So comfort is key - leggings and sweats are basically my weekend wardrobe right now. I am excited to be half done my school year though! I hope everyone else has a few more exciting plans than me.

I have added a new ring to my collection...all thanks to Erin Wasson. My friends Sara and Danielle introduced me her jewelry line, Low Luv, and it has totally and completely stolen my heart (along with theirs!). I've been looking for the perfect full-finger wrap ring for a while now, and I'm quite happy with this one.

All of the new spring stuff in Club Monaco has absolutely stolen my heart... especially these cropped long sleeve sweaters which are the perfect mix of relaxed casual & comfy chic. I'm tempted to go back and purchase it in every color... along with all of their great sale items & their adorable new jewelry (think oversized pearls with chunky silver chains). Another one of my obsessions right now is army green...I think it's flattering on (almost) everyone, it goes with again, (almost) everything (including stripes! yes!) and I think it transfers from season to season. I'm starting to see a lot of spring and summer merchandise appearing in stores, and while I'd love to be buying it all and wearing it, the weather isn't quite there yet. So until then, I'll be wearing casual variations of this:

Today was nothing but rain, rain, rain. As have the past few days. Unfortunately, I was stuck inside doing homework all day, so I decided to take a quick grocery run... and to juxtapose the dreary day with a splash of bright red.
